Hi, I'm Joshua

About me and my tutoring

Possibly my finest (or maybe worst) feature is that I'm permanently dissatisfied with my own understanding.

This may be why I have actually shown a certain skill for mathematics and physics. Just knowing is never ever sufficient for me; I must at least aim to carefully recognise the thinking behind the maths I do, and after that, take my understanding to its restrictions. Asking excessively about the reason something is the way it is, perhaps to the nuisance of my lecturers, is something I'm compelled to do. I, along with lots of others, find this Socratic method of knowing as well as teaching to be unbelievably helpful in building an essential understanding of mathematics and physics from basic concepts, as well as I endeavour to inform in specifically this manner.

I hope I could inspire trainees with my extreme love of maths and physics or, at the minimum, expose the topics as far less challenging than they appear. Normally not every person is a mathematician, and also various minds learn at different rates, however I will aim to leave a long lasting and valuable perception.
